REST @ Buenos Aires
We are certainly sure that Juergen Brendel (RESTx father) didn’t come to Argentina to rest . Besides his work in Mule ESB, he was able to share his knowledge in RESTful Web Services (and Python) with the Mule Community down here.
The event was held in the brand new MuleSoft Buenos Aires office and a diverse audience enjoyed one hour and a half of technology, food & drinks in an informal and relaxed environment. Juergen led the talk, and the crowd was surprised by his passion. Interesting discussions took place mostly regarding to what REST is not, and what were the differences between a good and bad implementation of RESTful Web Services.
If you were not able to join us and want to take a look at the material Juergen presented, just download the following files:
This was the first meeting of this kind in Buenos Aires, and for sure it won’t be the last. Most of the received feedback was positive, motivating MuleSoft to sponsor other JUG like events in the future in which IT geeks can share knowledge and time together. Just stay tuned!
MuleSoft Argentina is hiring, so if you are passionate for Java(tm) related technologies and want to be part of one of the few companies that develop world class products in Argentina, we invite you to check open positions here.
